When to use bulk
Bulk is the right tool when you have a list of links or short strings and want a separate QR for each — table tents per restaurant location, asset tags per item, voucher codes per customer, links for a print run. Each QR is independent; there is no shared state and no server in the loop.
If you only need one QR, the single QR generator gives you more design control (logos, gradients, frames, more QR types).
Frequently asked questions
- Is there a limit?
- Up to 50 QR codes per batch. Each code is generated entirely in your browser, so the limit is to avoid stalling slower devices, not a paywall.
- Can I use my own colors or logo?
- You can set a foreground and background color and pick a dot style. For per-code logo or custom design control, use the single QR generator instead — the bulk page is built for speed.
- What about WiFi, vCard, or other QR types?
- Bulk supports URL and plain text. For WiFi, vCard, SMS, email, and event QR codes, use the single QR generator — those types need structured input that doesn't map well to a list.
- Do the QR codes ever expire?
- No. These are static QR codes — the destination is encoded into the dot pattern. There is no redirect server, no account, nothing that can be switched off. The codes you download today work in ten years.
