1. What this service does
freebarcodeqr.com generates QR codes and barcodes in your browser. You provide the content; the site renders an image you can download. Generation runs locally — we don't see what you encode.
2. License to use what you create
You own the codes you generate. You may use them for any purpose, including commercial use, without attribution. We do not retain any rights over your generated codes.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site to:
- Encode content that is illegal in your jurisdiction.
- Encode malware-delivery URLs or links intended to harm scanners.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or attempt to overload the service.
- Misrepresent yourself or your products using barcodes you are not authorized to issue (for example, fraudulent EAN/UPC codes).
You are responsible for the content you generate and for any downstream consequences of using it.
4. No warranty
The site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that scanners will always read the generated codes, that the service will be available without interruption, or that it will be free of errors. You are responsible for verifying that any code you produce scans correctly before relying on it.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim is limited to USD $50.
6. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the homepage for at least 14 days. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
